A DAO, or decentralised autonomous organization, is a business structure where control is spread out rather than hierarchical.
DAOs are organized using smart contracts, with participants using governance tokens to vote on topics such as fund allocation.
A DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Corporation or Decentralized Autonomous Community) is a subclass of DAO and it’s a community that works through rules encoded as smart contracts.
